Update

Monday offered fun powder thanks to the snow from Sunday night and additional snow showers that hung around during the day.

We saw a little bit of snow accumulate on Monday evening after lifts closed, so conditions will remain soft now on Tuesday morning.

Tuesday’s weather should be dry and we should see a decent amount of sunshine even as moisture hangs around the northern mountains of Colorado. High temperatures will be in the upper teens to low 20s.

Wednesday should also be partly-to-mostly sunny with temperatures in the mid-20s to low-30s.

On Wednesday night, a weak storm should bring clouds and a quick chance for snow with accumulations of just a dusting to maybe an inch or two.

On Thursday, we’ll return to dry weather with increasing clouds through the day and temperatures in the 20s.

Then the fun will begin as we’ll see snow start on Thursday night and continue through at least Saturday morning. Total accumulations during this time should be near or greater than 10 inches, and both Friday and Saturday should be powder days.

I am going to wait about one more day to allow the forecast models to (hopefully) come into better agreement and then I’ll discuss more details about this storm, like which day could be deeper and the expected quality of the powder.

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
