West Stays Active, but Storm Track Stays South of Washington

Summary

For the most part, yesterday's thunderstorms spared the western part of the state, with rain and lightning being the most common result. Thunderstorms will remain a possibility on Thursday, as well as some upper-elevation snow showers. The pattern will remain active across the west for the next week, but it looks like the storms will continue to track too far south for anything big.
