Snow increasing Friday

Update

Expect sunshine early Thursday,  then more clouds later in the day. After today, there will be a change with new snowfall falling. You should get ready for respectable new fresh snow on Friday.  A new system is coming in from the northwest on Friday and the snow machine will crank up. Expect the snow to start early Friday, but just a little snow will have fallen when you arrive Friday morning. However, you’ll be skiing in snow all day as the system moves through. There will be 3-7” of new snowfall during the day and an inch or two overnight Friday.

The weekend will see partly to mostly cloudy skies, with little or no new snow, as most of the snowfall concentrates south into Washington and mainly Oregon. Skiing should be great on and off-piste for Saturday and Sunday, with the predicted snowfall Friday and early Saturday.

High pressure will produce a relatively dry pattern for much of next week.
