Snow and Sun

Update

Tricky forecast as models are telling different stories. I’ll go with a split. We’ll see some snow at times on Saturday (2-6”) with some clearing periods on Sunday. The partial clearing, dry and cold pattern continues into Monday and the middle of next week – but maybe not! Sorry to be so uncertain, but models are all over the place – I’ll lean drier for now.

The issue is a stream of very moist air, which will spread snow into OR, ID and WY and may shift northward.  OR ID and WY will get hammered for sure, but does the snow spread north in any significant way?

Lets go with snow at times on Saturday, partial clearing Sunday. Next week shows loads of uncertainty, I’ll go with mainly dry… but be ready for a change.
