Winter Park Daily Snow

Update
We will see three-storms through Sunday.
The first storm arrived early on Thursday morning, bringing light snow starting at around 600 am. We should see the snow showers continue on Thursday with 1-2 inches of accumulation and this should keep the groomers and north-facing slopes soft and fun.
The snow showers will likely wind down on Thursday night and Friday, though they may not stop completely and we could see light additional accumulations during this time.
The second storm will bring steadier snow from Friday evening through Saturday morning with 2-5 inches of accumulation. This should provide a low-end powder morning for first chair on Saturday. Also, keep your eye on the snow stake camera as there are some aspects about this storm (wind direction switching to blow from the northwest, cooling temperatures) that could bring more snow than forecast to Winter Park. The limiting factor for snowfall will be the cold temperatures, which will drop to the single digits on Saturday morning.
I think we’ll see some breaks of sunshine on Saturday, then the third and final storm will bring snow from Saturday evening through Sunday midday with an additional 2-5 inches of accumulation. This final storm should keep the snow soft and fresh for Sunday morning.
Next week, we’ll have dry weather from Sunday afternoon through Tuesday, with snow likely returning sometime between next Tuesday evening and Thursday.
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for an update each morning!
