Update

Winter Park will receive mild temps and gusty winds out of the southwest on Sunday, followed by increased cloud coverage during the second half of the day. Look for mid-mountain highs in the 30s ahead of slightly cooler temps for the rest of this week.

Come Sunday evening, increasing clouds will turn over to light snow showers through Sunday night and into Monday. Totals will range from a dusting to maybe an inch or two as a slow-moving system slides to our southwest and eventually well to our south through Tuesday.

This setup will bring an increased chance for snow again on Monday night but we'll only be looking at another light refresh by Tuesday morning. Look for 1-3 inches through Tuesday morning ahead partly sunny skies for the second half of Tuesday and into Wednesday.

We'll then turn to the second half of Wednesday for just enough moisture to push into northern Colorado to bring us another round of light snow through Thursday morning. This system doesn't look overly impressive but we'll take all that we can get!

Looking further ahead, Winter Park will be right on the edge of the main storm track heading into next weekend and the first week of April. There are some signals for additional storms, while others keep us dry into early April. More details to come this week.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned!
