Winter Park Daily Snow

Update
Thursday
On Wednesday night we received 2 inches at mid-mountain. Enjoy this new snow on Thursday morning, and expect lots of clouds on Thursday with temperatures in the upper 20s.
Storm Part 1: Thursday Night to Saturday Morning
Amounts: Total snowfall will likely be 4-8 inches and maybe much more if we get lucky. I have low confidence in exact snow amounts because there will be narrow west-to-east bands of precipitation and it’s impossible to know where these bands will set up. If we get lucky and a few of these bands hang over the mountain, snow amounts could be much deeper than expected. Keep your eye on the snow stake cam to see how the snow is piling up.
Timing: Friday should offer new snow in the morning with more falling through the day. Snow could continue through late Friday night then we’ll likely see a break from late Friday night into Saturday morning. There could be some powder on Saturday morning as well, though overnight amounts from Friday may not be that impressive.
Storm Part 2: Saturday through Sunday
Look for 6-12+ inches during this part of the storm. Snow will ramp sometime on Saturday (likely midday or later) then we should see intense snow on Saturday night into Sunday morning. Temperatures will cool on Saturday night, so the powder on Sunday should be light and fluffy. Sunday is my pick for the deepest morning with the best quality powder.
Longer Range
It’s likely that we’ll see light snow or no snow on Monday through Tuesday. Then the next storm(s) should bring snow from Tuesday night through Saturday, March 9th. Let the good times continue!
