Winter Park Daily Snow

Update
Storm Wednesday & Thursday
Light snow and colder temperatures arrived on Wednesday morning.
We have just a dusting to an inch of snow as of Wednesday at 700am, but we’ll see more snow through Wednesday-day and Wednesday-evening as the storm strengthens and moves over Colorado.
I am going to increase my forecast from 8-12 inches to 10-15 inches, with 4-8 inches on Wednesday, another 4-8 inches on Wednesday night, and a few more inches possible on Thursday. All of the latest models show intense snow from late Wednesday through Thursday morning, so I’ll bite on this and say that Thursday morning should be soft, deep, and cold, possibly like a mid-winter powder morning.
As northwest flow continues on Thursday and Thursday night, we could see a few additional inches of snow, which could keep conditions soft through Friday morning.
Longer Range
I am still expecting a southern storm to move near Colorado on Saturday, though right now I think any snow on Friday night and Saturday will be light. The next storm should arrive around April 16th with chances for snow through April 18th. Closing day for Winter Park is April 21st and Mary Jane will be open through May 12th.
Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
