Winter Park Daily Snow

Update
Thursday Morning Powder!
The entire storm over performed the forecast. While I like to get the numbers right, I’ll gladly take a storm that brings more snow than expected.
On Wednesday, we saw 10 inches, which was lucky as a few stronger cells tracked over the mountain.
On Wednesday night, I was expecting the chance for deeper snow totals thanks to a favorable wind from the north, and the atmosphere still delivered more snow than I expected with about 15 inches falling between Wednesday 400pm and Thursday 500am.
Thursday is a deep powder morning, with the snow from Wednesday night looking quite fluffy on the snow stake cam as temperatures are chilly at about 10F. This should provide some faceshots! Have a super fun time this morning!
Thursday & Friday
A flow from the west-northwest and northwest should keep snow showers going over northern Colorado. Accumulations are tough to pin down during these situations, but we should see at least a few additional inches, so conditions should stay soft and fun as long as we do not see many breaks of sunshine (the high April sun angle can turn the new powder to mush pretty quickly).
Longer Range
Look for a few showers on Saturday, dry and sunny weather on Sunday and Monday, and then a good chance for snow from later Tuesday through early Thursday (April 16-18) with a possible powder day around Wednesday, April 17. Then another storm could bring snow between about April 20-22. Closing day for Winter Park is April 21st and Mary Jane will be open through May 12th.
Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
