Update

Thursday Recap

It was an incredible powder day with deep, fluffy snow across the mountain. Also, snow showers persisted through the day with 2-3 inches of additional accumulation, so there was NO issue with the April sunshine turning the top of the powder to mush.

Friday & Saturday

We will see snow showers persist from Friday morning through Saturday afternoon, along with some breaks of sunshine. Accumulations should be light, and temperatures will be warmer than Thursday with highs around 20F on Friday and in the mid-20s on Saturday.

Sunday & Monday

We’ll see some clouds and some sunshine both days, and the weather will be dry. Temperatures will be much warmer with highs on Sunday in the 30s and highs on Monday in the 40s.

Storm Tuesday to Thursday

Another significant storm should bring snow from late Tuesday afternoon or evening through Thursday afternoon. Wednesday and Thursday could both be powder days, with Thursday possibly being the deeper day of the two. I’ll keep you posted on potential accumulations as the storm gets a bit closer.

Longer Range

We will likely see additional snow after Thursday, April 18th. Closing day for Winter Park is April 21st and Mary Jane will be open through May 12th.
