Winter Park Daily Snow

Update
We saw a storm on Saturday afternoon and evening which dropped 3 inches of snow at mid-mountain. A few days ago, I thought the storm would bring 1-4 inches. Then the day before the storm, all models showed less snow, so I dropped my expectations to 0-1 inches. And the reality was 3 inches. I should have stuck with my original forecast! While the 3-inch total is not a big accumulation, it is the most snow that was reported anywhere in Colorado and is something to enjoy on Sunday morning.
Behind the storm, Sunday will start off with temperatures around 20°F (5-10 degrees cooler than Saturday morning), then for the rest of the day, readings will rise into the mid-to-upper 30s with plenty of sunshine.
The weather on Monday and Tuesday will also be dry, partly-to-mostly sunny, and comfortable with high temperatures in the upper 30s to low 40s.
The next storm will bring a chance for snow from Wednesday through Saturday. This system will track toward Colorado from the southwest, which is not a favorable direction for a lot of snow in the northern mountains. No matter, I expect multiple waves of snow to move across Colorado during these three days and we should be able to grab a total of maybe 2-6 inches. As the storm moves closer, I’ll keep you updated with any changes to the forecast.
The longer-range outlook points toward dry weather for Saturday, Nov 23 and Sunday, Nov 24. Then the pattern for Thanksgiving week is more promising, with the latest models showing a chance for one or multiple storms to move close to Colorado from the northwest. If this storm track comes to fruition, it would be a good (snowy) way to end the month of November.
Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
