Update

Wednesday will start out sunny and we’ll see temperatures rise into the mid-20s to low 30s throughout the day. Clouds should increase as a weak storm moves toward northern Colorado.

On Wednesday night we should see a few snow showers and accumulations could be anything from just a dusting to maybe an inch or two.

For most of Thursday, expect partly-to-mostly cloudy skies, temperatures in the 20s, and maybe a few snow showers especially during the afternoon.

Then from Thursday night through Friday expect significant snow with 5-10 inches of accumulation. The majority of this snow should fall on Thursday night through the first half of Friday, so the deepest conditions should be Friday morning through midday.

From Friday afternoon through Saturday night we should see more snow, and accumulations could be significant, though I have low confidence in this part of the forecast. One scenario is that the snow lessens on Friday afternoon and then ramps back up on Friday night and Saturday is another powder day. Another scenario is that we see a break in the snow on Friday night with moderate snow Saturday during the day. And there are a lot of other scenarios, too! The potential is there and stay tuned as we work out the details.

By Sunday and Monday, the storm should move to the south and we’ll likely be left with just light additional accumulations and great conditions thanks to the multiple days of snow.

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
