Mostly dry and windy this weekend at Winter Park

Summary

Saturday and Sunday will bring warm weather with highs generally in the 40s. We'll see a few showers on Saturday night along with gusty winds on Sunday.

Short Term Forecast

Friday morning was a powder day thanks to 11 inches of snow during the previous 24 hours. Then Friday’s weather was mixed with times of sunshine and times of snow showers that produced little accumulation.

On Saturday, we’ll see some clouds and temperatures should rise to the upper 30s to low-40s.

On Sunday, we’ll see fewer clouds, warmer temperatures in the 40s to low-50s, and winds will be gusty with speeds of 35-50mph.

Sunday is closing day for Winter Park, though Mary Jane will stay open through May 9.

Extended Forecast

If you’re looking for some powder at Mary Jane, keep an eye on Tuesday and Wednesday (April 27-28) as there could be at least 3-6 inches of new snow with soft conditions later on Tuesday and early Wednesday. After that, another storm is possible between May 3-5.
