Saturday was a gorgeous day with sunny skies, cool temperatures, and the feel of winter as now all of the ground is covered in snow.

Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday will be dry and warm with high temperatures rising into the 30s each day.

The next storm will arrive on Wednesday morning and deliver a quick shot of a few inches of snow on Wednesday morning and Wednesday midday. I have high confidence in this.

Then from Wednesday afternoon through Friday, additional pieces of storm energy will likely push across Colorado and we should see additional snowfall. How much? I don't know. It could be anything from negligible amounts to 3-6+ more inches. I hope to be able to dial in the forecast in the next day or two. Overall, I have low confidence in the forecast from Wednesday afternoon through Friday.

Looking farther ahead, from about Saturday, December 18 through Saturday, December 25, I have high confidence that there will be storms around the western United States, but, I have low confidence if those storms will bring a lot of snow to us here in Colorado. Instead of being directly under the forecast storm track, we're going to be on the eastern edge. So we'll just have to wait and hope and do our snow dance and anything else that could bring us good luck and more snow.
