Snowy Sunday

Summary

Snow will fall all day on Sunday with additional storms coming up this week.

Update

Saturday was a dry day, but the snow will return on Sunday and beyond.

On Sunday morning, the snow stake shows no accumulation, but snow should start to fall around or just after sunrise.

Sunday – Sunday Night

Snow will fall all day and into the evening with 4-8 inches of accumulation. The powder will get deeper throughout the day. Summit winds could be gusty during the middle of the day on Sunday, and temperatures will be chilly with readings in the teens.

Monday Morning

The morning should offer soft snow and leftover powder from Sunday's snowfall. We'll likely see a lull in the snowfall, but some flakes could keep falling from the sky.

Monday Afternoon – Tuesday Midday

Expect another round of snow with the most intense snowfall later Monday night into Tuesday morning. Tuesday morning should be the best time for powder with another 4-8 inches of accumulation.

Wednesday & Thursday

I'm not sure. We'll likely see some snow but I have low confidence

Friday & Saturday

The final significant storm of this week-long powder party will move through. Snow could ramp up Friday and continue into Saturday, with Saturday maybe being the deeper powder day. I'll talk more about potential snow totals when the storm is a little closer.

Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!

PS – The significant changes to OpenSnow that I've talked about for the last week are now live. If you're an All-Access subscriber (thank you!), you'll see no changes. If you are not an All-Access subscriber, here is an FAQ with more details about the upcoming changes, and we hope that eventually, we'll earn your support. Also, you can watch 2-3 minute videos about these changes made by myself, our Tahoe forecaster BA, and our Utah forecaster Evan. And finally, check out our Utah forecaster Evan's Twitter thread showing exactly how he uses OpenSnow's All-Access features to track powder.
