Cold Thursday, warmer Friday

Summary

Wednesday's cold temperatures will continue into Thursday, then we'll see warming on Friday and Saturday with maybe a bit of snow on Saturday night.

Update

Wednesday was mostly cloudy with times of light snow that amounted to just a dusting. Wednesday was also very cold with high temperatures in the single digits.

Thursday will be sunny yet still very cold with highs only reaching the single digits.

On Friday and Saturday, the sunshine will stick around, and the cold will abate with highs closer to 20°F.

In terms of snowfall, there will be no significant storms during the next 10 days, though we could have chances for at least a little bit of snow accumulation on Saturday night into Sunday, around February 8-9, and around February 10-11. Again, none of these time periods will bring a lot of snow, but we might see a few flakes and maybe a little bit of measurable snow if we're really lucky.

Looking further into the future, all longer-range models continue to point to a chance for a significant storm sometime during the week of February 13-18. Yes, this is about two weeks in the future, so confidence in the forecast is low, but we'll take even a low chance for significant snow.
