Light snow on Saturday night

Summary

Saturday will be sunny and warm, then on Saturday night, we'll see a little fresh snow.

Update

Friday was sunny and temperatures were warmer than the past few days with a high of about 20°F.

Now on Saturday morning, skies are once again clear and it'll be a sunny start to the day.

Following Saturday's sunny weather with a high temperature in the low 20s (and gusty winds during the midday and afternoon), on Saturday night, a moisture-starved storm will brush by Colorado and this system will deliver some snow. Between Saturday at midnight at Sunday mid-morning, there could be a dusting to 3 inches of snow, and this could be fun to ride on the groomers on Sunday morning.

Looking ahead to next week, we could see two additional brush-by storms with just light snow around Wednesday, February 9, and around Saturday, February 12. Snowfall could range from very little to maybe a few inches.

The next week, from about February 15-18, is when we could see our next chance for significant snow. The good news is that most versions of most models are continuing to show this storm. The bad news is that this storm is still about 10 days away and so we need to wait at least a few more days before trying to figure out any details and how much snow might fall.

Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
