More snow coming up

Summary

Friday's wind and snow are over, yet more snow is on the way.

Update

Friday was a stormy day with gusty winds and 5 inches of new snow falling at mid-mountain.

Now on Saturday, the wind is gone, the snow is gone, and the clouds are (mostly) sticking around.

On Saturday afternoon and Saturday night, light snow could fall with a dusting to a few inches of accumulation. I have low confidence in this.

On Sunday, expect a dry and mostly cloudy day.

On Monday and Tuesday, narrow bands of intense snow will form over the northern and central mountains of Colorado (we are in the northern mountains). These narrow bands of intense snow might deliver 4-10+ inches of accumulation, but I still have low confidence in snow totals and snow timing. Keep an eye on Monday and Tuesday as potential powder days and we'll try to narrow down the forecast as soon as we can.

On Wednesday into Thursday, there could be some more snow, but I think the brunt of the snow on these days will fall in southern Colorado.

Our next chance for a storm will then be sometime later Friday through Sunday, December 9-11, with more storms likely as we move into mid-December.
