Monday was a beautiful day with sunshine and comfortable temperatures in the teens and low 20s.

Tuesday will be a mixed day with some clouds and a higher chance for accumulating snow from later Tuesday into Tuesday night. I have low confidence in snowfall totals for Tuesday and Tuesday night, though maybe we'll sneak out a bit of measurable snow by Wednesday morning.

Wednesday will be the lead-up to the storm with some clouds and snow showers with maybe light snow accumulation through mid-afternoon. We will also feel faster winds, especially on Wednesday afternoon. 

Wednesday evening and night is when we'll see the main part of the storm move through with intense snow (1-2 inches per hour) and fast wind gusts of 40-60+mph. This could cause low visibility and temporary road closures.

By Thursday morning, I expect 5-10 inches of wind-affected powder from Wednesday night's snowfall. If you head out on Thursday to enjoy the new snow, dress warmly as temperatures will likely be colder than 0°F for the entire day and the wind could still be gusty at 20-40mph.

After Thursday, we might see additional storms and light snow from Friday into Saturday and again from Sunday into Monday, but my confidence is low about these systems. It is likely that we will not be able to have higher confidence in the forecast until 12-24 hours before the arrival of each storm.

Looking further into the future, our next chance for a stormier period should be around December 28-31.
