Some new snow on Saturday morning

Summary

We'll enjoy soft conditions on Saturday thanks to the 10"+ of new snow that we've seen in the past 36 hours.

Update

On Friday we saw about 4 inches of new snow on top of the 4 inches that fell on Thursday night, and this created fun and softer conditions. Then on Friday night, another 2+ inches fell.

It's snowing as I write this at 6 am on Saturday morning, and we could see more snow through late morning, which will further soften conditions.

After Saturday morning's snow, we'll move into a somewhat drier weather pattern on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday with just light snow likely from Sunday into Monday as the next storm tracks well to the south of Colorado.

On Wednesday and Thursday, another storm should bring snow with potential powder on both days.

And then from Friday, January 12 to Monday, January 15, we should see more snow, but uncertainty in the forecast is high based on the track of very cold that will move close to or over Colorado. Ideally, we want this very cold air to stay away as it will limit moisture and the potential for snow.

Temperatures for the next 7-10 days should mostly be in the single digits and teens, as long as the very cold air doesn't move into Colorado.
