Snow to end the week

Summary

We will see flakes on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and then another storm could bring snow from Sunday into Monday.

Update

Tuesday

Tuesday was sunny and dry with a high temperature in the 20s to low 30s. It was gorgeous.

Wednesday

On Wednesday morning, snow is falling to our north, and these flakes may make it to us and bring a dusting or coating of accumulation during the morning. Then we will likely see more sunshine during the afternoon. The high temperature will be in the 20s.

Thursday

Another fast-moving storm will bring snow in the morning with light accumulations, and then a stronger piece of this storm will bring steadier snow on Thursday night with 3-5+ inches of accumulation. The high temperature on Thursday will be in the 20s.

Friday

We should start the day with soft conditions due to the new snow on Thursday night. We might see a lull in the snow during the morning. Then another round of steadier snow should deliver 3-5+ inches on Friday afternoon and Friday night. The high temperature on Friday will also be in the 20s.

Saturday

We will start Saturday with softer conditions due to the new snow from Friday night. Saturday should turn out to be dry and mostly sunny, though we could see lingering snow showers and clouds in the morning. The high temperature on Saturday will be in the 20s.

Longer Range

A fast-moving storm with deliver light accumulations from Sunday afternoon through Monday morning, and then another fast-moving storm should bring snow on or around Thursday, February 22.

After that, there is a chance for more snow during the weekend of February 24-25, and then it appears that a colder and stormy weather pattern could set up over the western U.S. during the final few days of February and/or the first few days of March.

My next update will be Thursday morning.
