Tahoe Opens for the 2016-2017 Season

Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe officially kicked off the 2016-2017 season for Lake Tahoe as they beginning spinning their lifts at 9 a.m. on the morning of Friday, November 18th. After a record October, snowmaking operations were tough throughout the first half of November but Tahoe's highest base elevation resort had no trouble opening the week before Thanksgiving.

Boreal Mountain Resort is also scheduled to begin their 2016-2017 ski and snowboard season on Friday, November 18th from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

With the Tahoe resort season officially underway, it's now time for the snow machine to really start cranking as we head into the Thanksgiving holiday!
