Snow Friday into Saturday morning

Summary

Thursday will be the last warm day and then we’ll see colder air and snow on Friday and Saturday. I expect snow to begin Friday late morning or midday and showers will continue through Saturday morning. The northern and central mountains have the best chance to see 3-6+ inches with the softest snow on Saturday morning. For the rest of the weekend, energy and moisture may linger, delivering additional snow to the southern mountains (low confidence). Then for next week, I am keeping my eye on a potentially stronger storm around Wednesday, April 3.
