Friday snow, Saturday morning softness

Summary

The northern and central mountains will see snow from Friday midday through Saturday morning, and 3-6 inches still looks like a good forecast. The softest snow could be on Saturday morning. Then lingering energy and moisture could keep snow showers around through the weekend with maybe low-end powder amounts by late Sunday or early Monday in the southern mountains. After that, a storm should bring snow for multiple days during the middle and end of next week.
