Colorado Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Colorado Daily Snow

It looks like something fun will happen during the early or middle part of next week, at least for the eastern foothills and plains. Both the American GFS model and the European model push a storm through the midwest early next week, and cooler air will head south toward eastern Colorado as this storm moves by.

What will this mean for the weather out your window? Hard to say at this point. If the cooler air delivers a glancing blow, perhaps we'll see temperatures in the 70s and more clouds with light rain over the plains. If the cooler air delivers a more direct shot to the front range, expect temperatures in the 60s with a good shot at wetting rains for many areas.

I'm not forecasting snow at this point, but it's always exciting to see the first strong cold front of September as it's a great reminder that winter isn't far off. I'll keep you updated on our chances to see this front next week. Until then, it'll feel like summer.
