Sunday morning powder day, more coming late this week

Summary

Snow began to fall on Saturday midday and afternoon, continued on Saturday night, and is just about over now early on Sunday morning. Accumulations across Colorado averaged 3-7 inches with the winners getting 8-11 inches (Vail, Crested Butte, Snowmass, Aspen Highlands). Ski first chair on Sunday morning to get it while it’s fresh! This week, we’ll see dry weather on Monday and Tuesday, then most mountains will see snow on Wednesday and Thursday and perhaps into Friday. We will then experience dry weather from January 13-17, and a stormy pattern should set up starting on or around January 18th.
