Slim Chances for Snow This Week...

Summary

Sunny and dry weather will continue through Thursday this week with temperatures into the 60's in town and 50's on the mountain through Wednesday and then cooling a few degrees ahead of a storm Thursday. We could see some gusty winds later Thursday as well. Later Thursday night into Friday a storm moves into the area, but most of the precipitation is expected to stay to the North of Mammoth. Some model runs bring enough precip for a few inches of snow above 9000 feet. Temperatures could run colder Friday with 30's and 40's on the mountain to near 50 in town. Next weekend high pressure builds back in over CA with a warming trend into next week. We could see sun, dry weather, and temperatures back into the 60's in town by next Sunday and through the last week of October.
