Steamboat Daily Snow

Update
During the day on Monday, we saw bursts of snow followed by periods of sun, and the snow amounted to perhaps one half to one inch during the day. Then we saw steadier snow around sunset and early evening which brought another inch to the mountain. The official snow report on Tuesday morning notes two inches, which sounds about right.
During the day on Tuesday, expect times of sunshine alternating with a few bursts of snow as showers develop during the middle of the day and afternoon. Also, as one final piece of energy moves across northern Colorado, it’s possible that we could see additional accumulations on Tuesday evening or early in the night. Snow amounts should be a few inches or lower, but every flake helps to keep the mountain soft!
Weather for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday should be dry, then our next chance for snow (a few inches) should be on Saturday and/or Sunday, though I can’t pin down the details just yet. The weekend storm will likely move to the south and west of Colorado for a few days, and then it may circle back and bring snow to Steamboat during the middle or end of next week.
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for an update each morning!
