Steamboat Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

We saw a few flakes on Thursday morning and again Thursday night, though snow accumulations were quite light, under an inch. However, there is good news as I see two potential periods of moderate snowfall during the next four days.

The first chance of steadier snow should occur Friday night into Saturday morning. I put 1-3 inches in the forecast, and honestly the range could be even wider as the snowfall we come in narrow bands which means we could get little snow if the band misses Steamboat, or more than 3 inches if it hits. There will be a lull in the snow during the day on Saturday extending through midday Sunday, then I think we’ll see a better chance for snow, perhaps 3-6+ inches, from Sunday afternoon through Monday afternoon. Keep your eye on late this weekend and early next week for a potential low-to-moderate powder day. Have a great day, and look for another update here on Saturday morning!
