Steamboat Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

The official snow report on Monday morning notes three inches of fresh snow, and this is less than I expected. Most automated snow measuring devices in the Steamboat region have reported at least double this amount, so there may be some pockets of deeper snow on the mountain. Head out and see what you can find! Our current pattern of a moist flow from the northwest should continue to bring snow showers through late Monday night and I expect at least another couple of inches to fall.

After this storm, Tuesday and Wednesday will be dry, then our next system will bring snow back to Steamboat on Thursday afternoon and Thursday night with accumulations in the 2-4 or 3-6 inch range. This should setup soft turns again for Friday morning.
