Short Break, Round 2 Starts Later Today, Ding!...

Summary

Sunny with increasing clouds today (Friday). Highs in the 30's with ridge top winds to 70 mph. Tonight snow showers move in with 1-3 inches of snow possible. Saturday it's cold with highs in the 20's on the mountains and 30's at lake level. Snow showers continue with an additional 1-3 inches possible. Ridge winds up to 50+ mph. Saturday night snow showers continue with 2-4 additional inches possible. Sunday it is still cold with highs in the 20's and 30's. Wind gusts drop off. Lingering snow showers could drop a final 1-2 inches. Monday the sun returns but it stays cold with highs in the 20's on the mountains and 30's at lake level. We warm quickly Tuesday into the 30's and 40's, and the 40's and 50's by Wednesday through the end of the week. The sunny and springlike weather could continue into the week of the 2nd. The next chance for a storm looks to be around the 5th-8th of April.
