Snow Yay

Summary

A storm that has been stalled off the California coast will finally make its way inland Tuesday night, tracking across Arizona on Wednesday. Not a huge snowmaker but more than we've received in a few weeks.

Short Term Forecast

We remain in a relatively mild airmass out ahead of the storm through a cloudy Tuesday with very light snowfall possible through the day, possibly picking up a bit late in the afternoon. The action gets going Tuesday overnight and through the day Wednesday. Expecting light accumulation at opening Wednesday morning 1-2", with accumulation of 3-6" through the day Wednesday, should make for a fun day on the slopes. Storm quickly exits Wednesday night. No wind event behind the storm and quickly moderating temperatures bode well for pleasurable conditions to close the work week.

Extended Forecast

Models hinting at another storm late this weekend, with details unclear...stay tuned.
