The Stoke is ON: Opening Week Forecast…

Update

A cold front has started to bring the mountain temps down across Lone and Andesite on Sunday kicking off widespread snow showers. Look for a skiff to an inch Sunday night. This cold front will cause temps to gradually cool through the week with scattered snow showers in the forecast each day but with generally light amounts. Thanksgiving opening day looks promising as frigid Canadian air shoots down encountering moist air rising from the south bringing moderate snow amounts in the 4-8” range by Thursday night. Look for well below average daytime highs on Thanksgiving ranging from 8 above on the ridge tops to 15 at the base area. The cold air and daily snow showers look to stick around through the coming weekend as well.  It could be a powdery opening day on Thursday!
