Update

2” new at the Challenger snow-stake this morning with widespread flurries and a temp of 8 degrees in the village. Sunday will see decreasing SW winds (10-15/gusts to 20) and snow showers with much colder daytime highs of 15-18 at 8000’. A NW flow now looks to develop Sunday night into Monday morning that could bring a few inches and keep things cold but seasonal. Tuesday will see a few snow showers but no real accumulations.  Measurable snow then is expected to return Wednesday through Friday when an arctic front invades the region.
