AM Monday Update

Update

Snow showers overnight dropped an inch at the Challenger snow-stake with a few off and on flurries still around this morning and a temperature of 10 degrees in the village at 8am. Monday will see mainly cloudy skies mixed in with sporadic snow flurries with chilly daytime highs of 18-20 at 8000’. It will be blustery up in the alpine areas and ridge tops with SW winds 17-25mph with gusts up to 40mph. We’re under a NW flow now and cloudy skies, snow showers and cold (but seasonal) temps will be the daily dose through Thursday with light accumulations especially Wednesday. Another weather system is brewing for Friday when an arctic front is expected to invade SW Montana.
