Update

At 7am it’s 22 degrees in the village with the mountain reporting 1-2” of new snow overnight. Tuesday will see cloudy skies with scattered snow flurries with a balmy daytime high temp of 28 at 8000’. Upper elevation winds will be similar to yesterday blowing from the SW at 17-25mph with gusts up to 35mph. Wednesday will see a cold front move through in the afternoon hours with accompanying snow showers and another few inches likely. Thursday will be noticeably colder with the passing of the cold front but dry with mainly cloudy skies and highs in the mid-teens at 8000’. Friday’s forecast looks similar to Thursday’s before another wave of cold Canadian air arrives Saturday night that could trigger another round of widespread snowfall.
