8AM Wednesday Forecast Update

Update

At 8am Wednesday it’s snowing lightly with a temp of 22 degrees in the village and a skiff to an inch of new snow at the Challenger snow-stake. Wednesday will see snow showers, off and on throughout the day with moderate SW winds of 15-20mph with gusts up to 30mph. Daytime high temperatures will rise to around 25 at 8000’ before a cold front arrives this evening ushering in more light snow with 2-4” possible overnight. Thursday will be noticeably colder with the passing of the cold front with more snow showers and another inch or two possible with highs in the mid-teens at 8000’. Friday’s forecast looks to clear things out for a day with mostly sunny skies. Another small impulse arrives on Friday night that could trigger another round of light snowfall.
