Shredder Saturday

Update

At 8am Saturday morning no new snow has fallen overnight with cloudy skies over Lone Mountain and a temperature of 10 degrees in the village. For today expect varying shades of cloudy skies throughout the day with a few snow showers possible and a high temperature of around 22 degrees at 8000’. Moderate SW winds of 15-20mph with gusts up to 25mph will be blowing on ridge tops and in the alpine areas.

A NW flow will deliver several weak weather systems into the area Saturday night through Monday with a few inches per disturbance. Tonight, snow will start around midnight with 1-3” overnight expected. The next wave arrives around noon Sunday with yet another 1-3” possible into last chair. Another weaker wave Sunday night may drop inch or two with the third midday on Monday with similar results. While daytime high temps at 8000’ look to stay in the low to mid 20’s on Sunday, high temps drop on Monday into the mid-teens. Rip it up out there!
