Funday Monday

Update

At 8am Monday morning about 2” of new snow has fallen overnight at the Challenger and Andesite snow stakes with mostly cloudy skies and snow flurries flying with a temperature of 6 degrees in the village. For today expect a mix of clouds, flurries and a sun break or two before snow showers develop this afternoon with an inch possible by last chair and a high temperature of 16 degrees at 8000’. Light to moderate West winds of 10-15mph will be present on ridge tops and in the alpine areas.

The weather pattern looks to unfortunately dry out for coming week through Friday. Strong high-pressure builds over the NW diverting storms to the south and north of Montana. The good news is that sunny skies and seasonal temperatures should keep the snow stellar across Big Sky through Friday.
