Chilly & Sunny Tuesday

Update

At 8am Tuesday morning about an inch of new snow has fallen overnight with partly cloudy skies with a few rays of sun shining on Lone Mountain and a temperature of -0- degrees in the village. For today expect it to be cold across the mountain(s) with a mix of clouds and sun and a high temperature of 13 degrees at 8000’. Light to moderate West winds of 10-15mph with gusts up to 20mph will be ever present today. Wind chills to -15 are likely on the upper mountain ridge tops and alpine areas.

The weather pattern looks to unfortunately dry out for coming week through Friday. Strong high-pressure builds over the NW diverting storms to the south and north of Montana. The good news is that sunny skies and seasonal temperatures should keep the snow stellar across Big Sky through Friday.
