Summary

High-pressure is now in firm control of the skies at Big Sky. Expect chilly mornings and comfortable afternoons under mostly sunny skies daily through Monday. A westerly flow looks to develop early next week bringing a weak storm through the region on Wednesday. After that, high-pressure returns.

Update

Today:

At 7:00AM it’s 5 degrees in the Village and 10 degrees at the top of Andesite Mountain (at 8800’). No new snow fell in the last 24-hours. Skies are currently clear over both Lone and Andesite Mountains. Southeast winds at the top of Andesite are currently blowing lightly at 3mph.  

Today expect mostly sunny skies with a high temperature (at 8900’) of 19 degrees. NW winds will be blowing lightly up to 10 mph.   

 Extended Forecast:

High-pressure strengthens into the region bringing sunny skies Sunday and Monday. Daytime high temps (at 8900’) will stick around the 20 degrees mark Sunday and Monday. Clouds advance into the area on Tuesday with a high of 26 degrees. A mild westerly flow will bring in our next chance of snow on Wednesday with light accumulations likely. High-pressure then rebuilds for dry skies Thursday and Friday.
