Update

Today:

At 7:00AM it’s 11 degrees in the Village and a chilly 4 degrees at the 8850’ level of Andesite Mountain. 3 inches of new snow fell in the last 24-hours. Currently the skies are partly sunny over Lone and Andesite mountains. Current winds at the top of Andesite (8850’) are blowing from the NW at 4 mph with a recent gust to 14 mph. Current will chill at 7am at the top of Andesite, 4 degrees below zero.

Today, a mix of sunny and cloudy skies until mid-afternoon, then increasing clouds with a few flurries possible. North winds of 7 to 11 mph with gusts to 20 mph. High temperatures across the upper mountain locations (at 9000’) will be around 20 degrees. Dress accordingly…

Extended Forecast:

Monday and Tuesday look to be partly sunny days with continued below average daytime temperatures with upper mountain highs at 9000’ in the mid to upper 20’s. By Tuesday evening an upper-level disturbance will bring another round of spring snow showers, cold temps and gusty winds into Wednesday and Thursday as well. At this point in time it looks like 1 to 3 inches each day is possible.
