Summary
Another cold morning with predominantly blue skies and light winds. By Monday afternoon, a few more clouds will build along with NE winds, but not too bad with ridgetop gusts to 20 mph. Highs in the 20’s. Tuesday looks to be a repeat of Monday. A weakening disturbance moves through Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning that may drop an inch or two.

Today:
At 7:00AM it’s 12 degrees in the Village and 7 degrees at the 8850’ level of Andesite Mountain. A trace of new snow fell in the last 24-hours. Currently the skies are partly sunny over Lone and Andesite mountains. Current winds at the top of Andesite (8850’) are calm.
Today, a mix of sun and clouds with well below average temperatures. Northeast winds of 5 to 10 mph with gusts to 20 mph. High temperatures across the upper mountain locations (at 9000’) will be around 22 degrees.
Extended Forecast:
Tuesday looks to be a mostly sunny day with continued below average daytime temperatures with upper mountain highs at 9000’ in the low to mid 20’s. Increasing clouds Wednesday with snow showers developing during the afternoon with a trace to an inch. Snow showers continue Wednesday night for another trace to an inch. Thursday, cloudy with occasional flurries with highs (9K’) in the mid-20’s. Friday, mostly sunny skies and slightly warmer. The weekend is looking pretty good (sunny skies, warmer temperatures – both days) as high-pressure is progged to set up.
