Breckenridge Closed. Forecasts Continue.

Update

Breckenridge will remain closed through at least Sunday, March 22nd.

Vail Resorts Updates on COVID-19

Even though the resort is closed, I will continue to update the Breckenridge Daily Snow each morning. The weather never stops!

Mild temperatures and mostly dry weather will remain in place on Monday and Tuesday. Expect partly to mostly sunny skies and temps in the 30s.

Our next round of snow will then arrive on Wednesday, with light snow kicking off during the second half of the day. Totals should remain light ahead of the main wave on Wednesday night and into Thursday.

The models are beginning to come into better agreement on the potential for double-digit totals from Wednesday night through Thursday. We'll go with an initial forecast of 5-10 inches, with great "earn-your-turns" if you're able on Thursday.

Following the storm from Wednesday night through Thursday, we'll likely receive lingering snow on Friday and possibly into the upcoming weekend. Temps will climb into the 20s each day, with overnight lows in the teens.

Looking further ahead, light snow showers could continue into early next week ahead of another strong system around Tuesday, March 24th or Wednesday, March 25th.

Thank you so much for your continued support!

Next update on Tuesday (3/17).
