Snow Forecast

View → 10-Day Snow Forecast

Increasing cloud coverage and gusty winds are the signals for our next round of snow. Temps will climb into the 30s through Monday afternoon, along with winds gusting to 30-50 MPH across the upper elevations.

Come Monday evening, a strong cold front will slide through Colorado and deliver a quick round of intense snowfall. The heaviest snow will likely fall between 5 PM and 10 PM so expect all the fresh snow to be waiting for you on Tuesday morning.

In total, look for 3-6 inches, which will allow for soft turns on Tuesday morning.

Following the intense snow on Monday evening, snow will continue into Tuesday morning ahead of a break from midday Tuesday through roughly Wednesday morning. Temps will only climb into the teens to 20s on Tuesday ahead of single-digit temps on the mountains come Tuesday night.

Extended Forecast

Looking ahead to the second half of this week, we'll be watching for another round of snow from Wednesday morning through Friday night. The heaviest snow will likely arrive on Wednesday night so I would keep a close eye on Thursday morning for soft turns. Temps will climb into the upper 20s to low 30s each day, with overnight lows in the teens.

We should then catch a break in the action on Saturday (4/24) and Sunday (4/25). Mostly sunny skies will likely prevail each day, with daytime highs in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Following the dry weekend, we'll turn our full attention to additional chances for high-elevation snow between Monday, April 26, and Wednesday, April 28.

Thanks for reading! Next update on Wednesday (4/21).
