Snow Forecast

Dry conditions will continue through Friday morning. Temps will start in the 20s and rise into the low 30s by midday. Our final chance for snow this week will arrive then arrive midday Friday and continue through Friday evening.

Like much of this week, we'll be watching for an inch or two but heavy snow showers could pop up and quickly lay down deeper totals. Keep an eye on the mountain cams for real-time updates.

Dry conditions will prevail on Saturday, with daytime highs in the upper 30s to low 40s. Sunday will also feature dry weather as temps climb well into the 40s. Each afternoon will feature gusty winds, especially on Sunday afternoon as they climb into the 30-50 MPH range.

Extended Forecast

Mostly dry conditions should continue through Monday, though increasing cloud coverage will be the signal for an approaching cold front and our next round of snow from Monday night through next Wednesday (4/28).

There are still some timing differences in the models but it does look like the second half of Tuesday and into Tuesday night will be the time to watch for heavy snow and the potential for significant accumulations. Keep your schedules open for Wednesday morning (4/28) if you're still searching for late-season powder.

Looking further ahead, dry conditions will prevail by Thursday (4/29) and continue through the weekend of May 1/2. This first weekend of May should feature beautiful weather and a nice opportunity to enjoy spring corn conditions.

Thanks for reading! Next update on Monday (4/26).
