Lingering Snow Fernie, SE Interior
Summary
The multi-day storm cycle that brought heavy snow to all of BC over the past week is finally coming to an end, though a secondary disturbance will bring an additional 5-20 cm (2-8”) of snow to the southeast interior through Monday. The next storm will begin to impact the Northern Coast Range (Shames Mountain) on Monday, before spreading light snow into Whistler and the South Coast Range on Tuesday. Christmas Day (Wednesday) is looking dry for the most part, before another storm arrives Thursday, which will signal the start of a more active period through the weekend of December 28-29th and possibly beyond.
