Quiet Christmas, Storm Track Favors Northern BC Thursday-Friday

Summary

Light snow showers will persist across the Coast Range through Tuesday night and into Christmas morning. Otherwise, Christmas Day will be quiet across most of BC many ski areas seeing clearing skies, excluding valley fog. The next storm will bring heavy snow to the Northern BC Coast Range on Thursday-Friday with light snow for most of the South Coast. Another storm will bring more heavy snow to the North Coast Range on Saturday and Sunday, and the South Coast Range including Whistler should see moderate to heavy snow as well. Early next week (December 30-31st), a stronger storm will be possible with better snow potential for both the South Coast and the Interior.
