Lingering Snow Wednesday, Another Big Storm Friday

Summary

Light snow will linger across the Interior through the day on Wednesday, with good leftover powder turns following moderate to heavy snowfall over the previous 24-48 hours. The next storm will arrive Thursday night and bring additional moderate to heavy snow through Friday with lighter snow lingering through Saturday. This will be a cold storm, resulting in low-density powder, even across the Coast Range. Another storm is now expected to follow on Sunday, favoring areas closer to the US Border, such as the Vancouver area mountains, Kootenay region, and Lizard Range. The pattern will then turn colder and drier through most of next week as the main storm track shifts south into the US.
