British Columbia Daily Snow

Good Cycle Tuesday-Wednesday
Summary
Following a dry, sunny, and cold day on Monday, a good storm cycle will bring more snow on Tuesday and Wednesday with lower snow levels compared to the last storm. Tuesday afternoon will offer the best conditions across the Coast Range areas, while Wednesday morning will continue to offer deeper but heavier/denser snow for Whistler’s mid to upper mountain. All-day Wednesday will feature good storm skiing conditions and milder temperatures but continued low snow levels for the Interior, especially the North/Central Columbias including Revelstoke. The trends for later in the week are shifting the storm track a bit farther south, and the next storm on Thursday will favor the South Coast Range, Kootenay, and Lizard Range the most with less snow farther north. Another similar storm is likely around Friday night/Saturday with a similar bias toward more southerly locations. There are still some uncertainties on the storm tracks of the Thursday and Friday/Saturday storms, so we’ll see how things progress this week. We will likely dry out on Sunday and Monday, February 9th-10th, and beyond that it looks like we could see a chilly and relatively quiet pattern next week aside from the occasional weak storm.
